Rockstar Inspired Look: Katy Perry

It’s no wonder why singer/song writer Katy Perry’s look is so sought after with her beautiful sparkling blue eyes and girl next door angelic sweetness factor.  In this specific photo Katy really played up her eyes so we thought to do a tutorial on how to achieve Katy’s look using Johnny Concert makeup.

First start by priming a freshly washed face with a moisturizer making sure to smooth all over the forehead, nose, chin and cheeks for an underneath glow. Try to use a tinted moisturizer with an added SPF to prevent sun and wrinkle damage.

Make sure your eyebrows are in tip-top shape. Tweeze and trim any stray hairs and keep that arch looking perfect.

Prime the eyes with a primer and let it dry before applying any eyeshadow.

Start by taking an eyeshadow brush and dip it in Erotomaniac. Gently pat in the center of you eyelid and extend towards the outer creases of the eye.

Take a clean smaller angled eyeliner brush and dip in it water. Shake off any access water so the brush is a little damp and dip it in Ganja. Apply it into the inner corners of the eyelid and blend upwards towards the center where Erotomaniac meets.

Use a thin angled eyeliner brush and dip it water again. Shake off any access water since we just need enough to moisten the mineral eye pigment. Dip your brush in Peace Love Riot and line your lower lash line. Extend the line all the way to the outer corners of the eyes winging out the ends. Then blend Peace Love Riot into Erotomaniac. Use  a sparkly white eyeshadow like Blow and gently pat a little into the bottom crease of the eye blending into Peace Love Riot. Add false eyelashes or finish off with a couple of strokes of volumizing mascara.

Using a Blush Brush, sweep a highly pigmented baby pink blush such as Pu$$y Cat over the apples of the cheeks towards the temples blending lightly.

Finish off by slicking lips with a shiny pink color such as Johnny Concert Organic Lip Gloss in Attikiss.
